Roadhouse New Year
On New Year's Day, a bunch of us went out to Fitzgerald's in Berwyn, IL. Fitzgerald's is a fantastic venue to see live music, and it has a real roadhouse feel to it.

My wife and I were sitting at a stop light at the corner of Harlem and Roosevelt, where Berwyn, Forest Park, and Oak Park all come together. I looked out my window and just had to grab a shot of this store front as the drizzly Sunday afternoon gave it a special, timeless quality (no pun intended).

I saw this wall as I drove on Ogden Ave. in Berwyn, IL. I knew I wanted to photograph it, but felt like something was missing. Then I saw this gentleman approaching and thought he might be just what I needed.
